7 April 2020
The COVID-19 situation has unfolded rapidly in recent weeks.
The safety of our parks for visitors, guests, residents and staff is our highest priority.
The NSW Government has issued a Public Health Order which states that caravan parks and camping grounds must be closed to the public except for the purposes of accommodating:
- Permanent residents of the caravan park
- Persons working in the local area
- Persons who have no other place of permanent residence of whose primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable
- Overnight travellers
This followed previous advice from the Commonwealth Government that all non-essential domestic travel should be cancelled or postponed.
In line with this official advice, all four Lake Mac Holiday Parks will be closed from Thursday 26 March 2020:
- Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park
- Blacksmiths Beachside Holiday Park
- Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park
- Wangi Point Holiday Park
The parks will be closed to caravanners, campers, cabin customers and holiday van owners. The parks will remain open to permanent onsite residents and those that meet the criteria of the Public Health Order.
When will the parks reopen?
We will be closely monitoring the situation in the coming weeks and look forward to welcoming our customers back when it is safe to reopen. Subscribe to our newsletter and we will keep you posted with important updates and news about when we can reopen.
