Accommodation features
Parking and access to safari tent
There is a large accessible parking space adjacent to the tent with a flat pathway leading to an access ramp (ramp clearance 1400mm). The main entry door opening width is 1020mm.
Main bed
The main bed is in the main central area of the safari tent. It is a queen-sized four-poster bed. The bed is 600mm high with 258mm clearance underneath. There is clearance between the top of the mattress and the curtained top timber rail of 1170mm
Bathroom
The Safari tent has an accessible bathroom with barn style sliding door. The access bathroom has 1020mm wide doorway, grab rails, height adjustable shower, folding shower seat and flat floor surface.
Bathroom measurements:
Height to toilet seat - 475mm
Height to toilet pan - 445mm
Height to shower seat - 480mm
Clearance under bathroom sink - 640mm
Kitchen facilities
The accessible kitchen features a rustic finish and includes a bar-fridge, sink, kettle, toaster, microwave and plug-in hotplates. The bench is 750mm high with 700mm clearance under the sink. The undersink clearance is 930mm wide.
Dining area
The dining area is off the kitchen and features a four-seater table with wheelchair access on each side. Dining table has 675mm clearance underneath.
Living area
The living area features a comfortable L shaped lounge and a flat screen TV. The lounge is 570mm high. The depth of the lounge is 670mm.
2nd bedroom
The 2nd bedroom includes a bunk bed. Clearance under the lower bunk is 100mm with the top of the mattress at 450mm. There is a clearance between the top of the lower mattress and the base of the top bunk of 920mm.
Deck and outdoor living
There is a large, covered deck at the front of the tent, with views across the park.
The deck has a comfortable L shaped lounge (570mm high) and a small coffee table.
