Carols in the Park – Valentine
Enjoy this family-friendly night out celebrating the spirit of Christmas. Lake Macquarie Winds will perform on the night, and there will be a visit from Santa himself.

Toronto Festival of Lights
Starting from 7 December 2017, see Toronto decorated and illuminated as part of the Toronto Festival of Lights. The event occurs on Thursday and Friday evenings and on New Year’s Eve from 6.30pm to 9.30pm to celebrate Christmas and the holiday season. Walk around the viewing trail commencing at the Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto with a mini carnival (rides, jumping castles, bungy run and sideshow). Continue on to the Historic Toronto Train Station for some Harry Potter styled fun, through an enchanted forest to a water wonderland. Wander through the Christmas Village to the magical fairy glen. Get your Magic Christmas Glasses to turn the lights into an even more magical experience (available in four locations).

Carols by the Lake in Toronto
Enjoy Carols by the Lake in Toronto featuring performances by local talent including school groups and bands. At 9pm, enjoy a fireworks spectacular accompanied by the Lake Macquarie Police Boys Pipeband.

Lake Mac Carols by Candlelight
The festivities will kick off at 11am with the Variety Xmas Walk and kids activities, followed by entertainment from local musical acts including The Little Scallywagz and Vocal Evolution. There will be free kids’ activities all day and an evening concert from 6.30pm featuring Toni Childs and Judah Kelly. Santa will make a special appearance before the night finishes with a spectacular fireworks display at 9pm.

Carols on Dobell
Wangi Lions Club presents a night of traditional community Christmas Carol singing by the lake in Dobell Park from 5.30pm. The program will include items from children of Wangi, Arcadia Vale and Rathmines Public Schools and Peter Pan Pre-school.

Carols at Swansea
This year’s Carols at Swansea will return to Chapman Oval. The stunning facilities will allow for a wonderful evening of music, food and children’s amusements, culminating in a fireworks display above the Swansea Channel.
