Accessible accommodation

Take in the stunning lake views in our waterfront accessible duplex villa. The duplex features two fully self-contained apartments that can be booked individually as a one bedroom villa or combined to form a very large two bedroom villa.

Accessible features including wheel chair friendly ramp, self-opening entrance door, large circulation spaces throughout the cabin, motorised adjustable kitchen benchtops and cupboards, remote controlled blinds and accessible bathroom facilities.

Large screen TV in lounge area and bedroom, air conditioned, self-contained laundry, electric cooktop and oven, convenient location near our new pool.

Accommodation features

Parking and access to villa

There are two large accessible parking spaces adjacent to the villa with a flat pathway leading to a covered access ramp (1000 mm wide).

There are automatic remote controlled sliding cabin entry doors which are 1100 mm wide allowing plenty of room for access.

Bedrooms

There is one bedroom on each side of the villa, each with a king size bed which can be split into two singles. The beds are 640mm high with 120mm clearance underneath. The bedrooms have 930mm wide doorways and large circulation areas.

The villa also has a sofa which can be made up for an additional sleeping space. The height to the top of the sofa is 470mm.

Remote controlled blinds feature throughout the villa.

Bathrooms

There is an accessible bathroom on each side of the villa with 970mm wide doorways, grab rails, height adjustable shower, folding shower seat and flat floor surface.

Kitchen facilities

The kitchen features a dishwasher, oven, motorised height adjustable benchtops and cupboards. The bench has 780mm clearance at the highest point and 480mm at the lowest.

There is a bottom mounted fridge and plenty of circulation space.

Dining and living area

There is a combined dining and living area off the kitchen on each side of the villa. The four seater dining table has 710mm clearance underneath.

A two seater lounge is adjacent to the dining area along with a large screen TV with Foxtel. The lounge is approximately 470mm mm high.

Laundry facilities

Each side of the villa has its own laundry facilities on the back deck including washing machine, dryer and clothes lines.

Deck and outdoor living

Thre is a large covered deck at the front of the villa, overlooking the lake.

The deck has a shared BBQ along with an outdoor dining setting and breakfast bar.

Remote controlled features

The villas feature a range of remote controlled automatic features including automatic sliding entry doors; remote controlled blinds and curtains; and motorised adjustable kitchen benchtops and overhead cupboards, allowing access for a person who uses a wheelchair.

Access around the park

Pathways

There are concrete pathways leading from the villa around the perimeter of the park offering a beautiful waterfront walk.

Ramp access is available to recreational facilities including the recreation room and pool precinct and camp kitchen. Accessible BBQ facilities are also located on the southern side of the park.

The villa has it's own hoist available for use by guests - the Allegra Sonata 150 is a lightweight, compact mobile patient lifting hoist with a working load of 150kg.
